How Many Days Do You Need In the UK?
In order to see the highlights of England and Scotland, you will need a 12 to 16 day trip. This will give you 3-5 days to see London, which you can use to enjoy the city or to take a day trip to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Bath, the Cliffs of Dover, or Oxford. Additionally, this will give you 8 to 10 days in Scotland which gives you just enough time to spend two full days in Edinburgh, drive to and from the Isle of Skye (visiting a few places on the drive), and two days in the Isle of Skye.
Best Time to Visit The UK
For clear skies and the warmest weather, visit in June, July and August, but be aware that this is also the busiest time to visit the UK. May and September have very nice weather and slightly lower crowds. In December, cities in the UK become magical, with Christmas lights, markets, and a festive vibe.
